1. What are your goals for the day? My goal was to finish the SPaG edit and I did! BUSTED through 89 pages of text, BOOM BABY!

3. How many new words have you written since your last check-in? pff, not working on words, working on eiditngm that makes a total of 40 pages edited and 89 extra pages SPaG edited since yesterday.

Just one, today, as far as the writing goes. I'll also be editing 7k of someone else's fic.

6,104 (all scene outlines, but I'm counting it, since it contains dialogue and narration that'll be c&p'd in later, and won't be double-counted).

The long fic, mostly, though I also did final edits on another fic.
6. Have you made any progress or had any pitfalls?
My goals yesterday, and how I did:
1) Get at least 5 additional scenes plotted/outlined. I...um... actually plotted out SIXTEEN additional scenes--much more than the 5 I'd hoped! Also, that brings me to the end of the story! \o/
2) Write at least 2 of those scenes. Um... Nope. All that time was spent plotting the thousands of words I didn't expect to plot! I still consider it a HUGE amount of progress (also, I've basically removed the barriers of not knowing what comes next).
3) Get at least 5k of that 30k goal. Technically, yep!
7. Do you have anything else to share? (snippets to share, flailing, requests for butt-kicking, pep-talks, etc) That's pretty much it. I won't have much time today, after work (MAYBE an hour or two, if I'm lucky), but I should have... 9 hours tomorrow, provided my back isn't even worse.

I need to finish this short story before 3pm GMT Thursday!
1. What are your goals for the day? (word counts, get characters to hook up, find a way to work in some smut/angst/fluff, reach a certain plot point, whatever)
Write out the scenes where my main character gets into trouble because he's responding to the bullying he's living through. Hoping that the story will cross over 3k at that point.
2. Will you be working on a single project or multiple projects today?
Multiple projects. I need to write a poem for Writing Class, finish two or three little assignments for Writing Class and then my short story.

442 words. :S + the two short things I wrote in writing class, but I'll add that later when I've cleaned it up.

I started reading fanfic last night, instead of writing. I did get those 400+ words out eventually before I went to bed though!

Translated last line I wrote in my Short Story. = "The excuse was lousy, but the teacher made no comment to it. She never did comment on their behavior."
It hurts so much to write this pain and injustice for my character...... :(

Well, I just finished reading all those articles that various members posted on writing. I had a mini meltdown thinking omg...I have broken so many rules. I'm a terrible writer. No one will ever want to read anything I write, but I'm okay now. No more negativity.
