When writing gets to be a chore for me, I think it stems from feeling blocked/not knowing the perfect words to put down or maybe even not knowing what I want to write, etc. I've been using writeordie and ilys.com to break through those blocks, especially ilys.com. There is something freeing about not being able to see the text you're writing (the mistakes! the typos! the cliched words!) and then it just becomes about getting the words out there, getting the scene set, getting an idea on the table and I find that fun again.

And then I can go back and edit and make it pretty afterward. Or at least legible. LOL.
