Yeah sometimes it happens that way... RL is rough and the headspace is just gone (along with the time).

I have an office at work so I can close the door if I want to actually take a lunch break. Sometimes, though, I'll go off and find a picnic table on campus. Getting away and outside helps me (and makes me feel less weird, and more like it's a coffee shop or something).
