AND WRITE THIS WEEK?
All the Back to Hogwarts challenges! All I've been writing this year has come from prompts/challenges. They have also gotten me write more than I have for years.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE THING YOUR CREATED?
By the Book (http://stephaniejo84.livejournal.com/10813.html) I had so much fun writing this!
Edit: it didn't occur to me until afterwards that 'created' wasn't just writing, so I think my favourite thing was really my (http://stephaniejo84.livejournal.com/12502.html) five (http://stephaniejo84.livejournal.com/12225.html) posts (http://stephaniejo84.livejournal.com/11941.html) on (http://stephaniejo84.livejournal.com/11676.html) plotting (http://stephaniejo84.livejournal.com/11392.html).
I took the time to fix my spreadsheets while I figured out a way to explain it. So now, I don't have to type things twice. Once I enter the information on the 'glance at' part of my spread sheet it automatically fills in where it needs to be on my scene by scene part of my spreadsheet.
WHERE DID THAT IDEA COME FROM?
I decided to have Harry read my new favourite book At Swim, Two Boys and it just grew from there.

So I obviously think I can do no wrong and my ideas are *brilliant* (the two people who agree leave me wondering if I should do *all* my plotting on a couple hrs sleep a night.)

My favourite bit of writing this week was probably the drabble I wrote for
This has been a good week as far as inspiration goes.

Watching Amadeus on Netflix, especially this scene. I love the idea of a dying Mozart writing his own requiem, (even if the film is historically skewed)
As I wrote, I listened to these two songs Perfection (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfbplGPggXg) from the movie Black Swan and Confutatis Maledictis (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwMzoMW2U6s).
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE THING YOUR CREATED?
I haven't written this out, but have created an outline. It's a short fic about Teddy Lupin questioning his own existence/identity. He's inherited his Metamorphmagus abilities from his mother and that precedes him everywhere so that when a person first meets him, they always ask him to change his appearance. He's never really minded before because he always thought that it was cool, but now he wonders if people know what he actually looks like in his "unchanged" form. Even if I don't write the fic, it was a fun and interesting thing to plot.
WHERE DID THAT IDEA COME FROM?
One of my psychology lectures on prosopagnosia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prosopagnosia) or face blindness.

Excellent question. Well I'm taking part in a ton loads of fests so I've been drowning in awesome prompts- definitely my inspiration. Plus, there's WBTH and the friendly competition adds just the right bit of pressure to do it do it do it!
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE THING YOUR CREATED?
That would be this (http://dracogotgame.livejournal.com/56148.html)
WHERE DID THAT IDEA COME FROM?
Hard to say. I hardly ever write poetry, so it was a new and interesting challenge. I always liked the Sorting Song but the concept never agreed with me. It's a bit like putting people in cliques in high school, I always thought. The opportunity to do something different made me very happy and eager to try this out.

I'm not too sure yet. I just wrote a little drabble about the Hogwarts Express and I like it. I have a few scenarios in my mind at the moment, so my favorite still hasn't been written yet. Let's just have a lovely thought of the prefect's bathroom....
Hogwarts Express came from the prompt. I'm thinking smutty, although this one is quite tame. It is my start to working on writing the smut that I just promised Jae. She needs smut. I have other friends that need it too. I have to write smut. Start easy with making out on the train...move into the whip cream and chocolate being poured over Draco's pale body as Harry begins to lick his way from Draco's toes slowly up his leg....
(I think I may need to copy and paste that last lil bit. I need to find a prompt with that one...

My favourites so far have been The Sorting Hat song (http://slashedsilver.livejournal.com/12312.html) and the little birthday drabble (http://slashedsilver.livejournal.com/12752.html) that I wrote for

AND WRITE THIS WEEK?
Nothing more or less than the joy of writing. The only serious writing I have done in my life is fanfiction. I've only been doing this for a year, but I absolutely love it.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE THING THAT YOU CREATED?
This week? It would have to be this (http://slowroad.livejournal.com/23848.html).
WHERE DID THAT IDEA COME FROM?
I thought about the prompt, I let it marinate in my head and then I started writing. That is how inspiration works with me. I start writing and the ideas just flow.

AND WRITE THIS WEEK? I went to a seminar about state formation in the middle ages. And that really made me want to write Merlin fic. *is a total nerd*
Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to actually write it... Yet.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE THING YOUR CREATED? My erised fic! I can't give you details, of course because it is super secret ;-) but I have a really good feeling about it, and that's great, because I have been very worried about it for a while.
WHERE DID THAT IDEA COME FROM? I don't really know. I was just going to sleep and it popped into my brain. And I had to scribble it down quickly in the dark. I always get my best ideas when I'm half asleep.

All the prompts from the WBTH Challenge! They really have inspired me!
What was my fave thing this week?
Probably Story Time (http://meglw0228.livejournal.com/56885.html). It was so much fun doing that, and so different to what I usually write.
Where did the idea come from?
Two of the assignments, one tell an H/D story from someone else's POV and two include Ron, Hermione, Pansy, or Blaise in a story... When I read those, I thought they'd be perfect to do together and I told the story from Hermione's POV. And when I thought of someone else telling someone's story all I kept picturing was the horror stories you tell around a campfire...so I used that premise and ran with it.

This is German and roughly translated it means: 'Writing always is language-work.'
And i need to get better at English. I'm searching for words all the time.
