HP Lexicon doesn't have much to say, but I think we all know where this is going. It's such a good fest and it's such a sweet prompt, and you've loved it since the moment you saw it, only now you've got to finish the thing. Team Hinkypunk to the rescue!

Here’s your official team post. Make of it what you will. This is your team’s Common Room for the month; the only thing we’ll be looking at is the check-in comments, so make sure you’re posting yours as a reply to this.

The only real team assignment you'll be getting is to pick a team name and/or mascot. Like the one you have? Awesome. Want something else? Also awesome. Just let us know what you've all come up with by April 1 so we can get it right on the kick-off post.

There’s been a slight revision on the points for revising, go figure, so please claim them as per the crib sheet below.

Actually, I'd prefer tons of coffee or tea... but then I'd be pissing like a racehorse and get nothing done. ;) hehehe I type medium, but I type A LOT in one go... like 4K.

Yes! 4K in one sitting is a lot. I'm kind of all over the place. Some days I struggle through 500 words and other days I can bang out like 4-5K. *shakes head*

But it looks like I joined the right team! = D

I'm not nearly that productive in one sitting, but I try to be consistent and write every day. 500 words per day is my minimum goal but a good day can mean over 2k. I know that's a lot less than most people can manage in a day but I figure consistency and momentum and keeping the flow going has to count for something!

I find that if I write something everyday - even if I don't love it- that it keeps my story present in my mind and keeps my momentum going so that I can get more or better words the next day!
